An exciting opportunity has arisen for Communication and Engagemen

Consultant s with strong relevant experience to join our NSW team on

to 12 month fixed term contracts with the possibility to extend. We ar

looking for energetic professionals who are innovative- can communicat

effectively- prepare and implement communication plans- develop and maintain
strong collaborative working relationships with internal and external
stakeholders and clients- manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
You will work in multidisciplinary teams- prepare high-quality written
materials- monitor and respond to project enquiries- manage and contribute to
numerous communication channels- implement proactive community engagement
activities- alongside our key government and private industry infrastructure
clients and in-house design teams.

Our NSW Communication and Engagement Team we are looking for staff to fill
positions on our long term projects such as Easing Sydney`s Congestion and the
Newell Highway Program Alliance.

Minimum Requirements

Demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering communication and engagement strategies for infrastructure and planning projects

Experience working in multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure projects and/or with government clients is desirable

Excellent people skills and the ability to develop and grow relationships

Superior communication skills- excellent oral presentation and report writing- preparing proposals and reports.

Preferred Qualifications

Appropriate tertiary qualification in communications- public relations- journalism or similar

Job Summary
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Contaminated Land Consultant to
join our highly regarded and dynamic Geoscience and Remediation Services team
based in Perth. You will work with a great team of environmental engineers-
scientists- geologists- hydrologists and hydrogeologists- providing
contaminated land assessment and remediation consulting on a wide range of
projects. The role includes the opportunity to work for large international
oil and gas- mining and public sector clients across Western Australia and
further afield.
The Senior Contaminated Land Consultant will play a significant role i

managing and delivering industry leading projects for our Clients and suppor

the growth of the contaminated land business by developing and enhancin

client relationships and winning work.

Responsibilities

Management and coordination of various contaminated land projects- including contaminated land Audits- preliminary and detailed site investigations- compliance monitoring- acid sulphate soil assessments- asbestos management- and site remediation.

All aspects of project management- including preparation of scope and cost estimates- financial and budgetary management- resource allocation and scheduling- health and safety management and engagement of subcontractors.

Design of intrusive investigation and remediation programs- including preparation of sampling and analysis quality plans- placement and construction of groundwater and soil vapour monitoring wells- and selection of appropriate sampling and analytical techniques.

Authoring and peer review of high quality interpretative and technical deliverables- including proposal/tender preparation as required.

Effective verbal and written communication- liaison and management of clients- regulatory bodies- contaminated land auditors- subcontractors- vendors and analytical laboratories.

Supervise- provide safety leadership and mentor/ develop junior staff.

Collaborate with the wider AECOM business on a range of projects requiring CLM advice- including major infrastructure developments.

You will be required to work closely with our project teams to develop work
programs designed to provide innovative and progressive project solutions for
our clients. With an uncompromising commitment to health and safety and client
service- we are seeking a highly experienced environmental candidate with a
strong knowledge of current State and National environmental legislation. The
right candidate will possess strong project management- technical-
interpersonal and communication skills- and be able to quickly respond to
changing or challenging project needs. Whilst you will primarily be office-
based- flexibility is a must- and you may be required to undertake field work
from time-to-time as necessary or travel in order to support interstate based
project teams.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 8-15 years| demonstrated experience in a professional contaminated land consultancy setting- including demonstrated project management experience.

Extensive experience and knowledge of contaminated land field methodologies- including management and supervision of remediation- drilling- groundwater and surface water sampling programs.

Strong background in contaminated site assessment and characterisation- including data gap analysis- uncertainty evaluation- establishment of data quality objectives and conceptual site model development.

Knowledge and experience of WA regulatory frameworks- including application of the WA DWER Contaminated Sites Act 2003.

Preferred Qualifications

Appropriate tertiary qualification(s) in environmental science- geoscience- hydrology- hydrogeology soil science- environmental engineering or a related discipline.

Skills in interpreting- developing and analysing economic- financial and operational models and articulating results and recommendations

Good communication skills- both verbal and written- with ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to communicate complex concepts in a way that everyone understands

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor`s degree or higher in commerce/economics- finance- and/or engineering disciplines- or similar
