Job Summary
Our Infrastructure Advisory business is looking for a highly driven individual
to join our Transport Advisory team based in Melbourne. The successful
candidate will be responsible for leading and growing the transport planning
service offering- developing our Cities program from a transport focus- and
identifying opportunities across our multi-disciplinary business.
The successful candidate will be a driving force behind winning and delivering
key projects- whilst enhancing AECOMs technical and project delivery
capability across Australia and New Zealand. You will utilise your experienc
in the sector to actively seek new business opportunities through clien
engagement ??? both externally and internally.
You will have a proven track record leading high performing teams of transport
planners and engineers to develop technical solutions to clients` problems
through high quality delivery.
Skills and Responsibilities
Providing high quality technical advice- and application of transport planning and engineering principles and theory
Leadership and support in business and strategic planning activities grow the business
Relationship management with a wide range of clients and critical internal and external stakeholders
Help leading and to grow a team focused on delivering high standards of service.
Providing technical leadership for transport advisory projects through Project Director and Project Manager style roles.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 15 years` experience- ideally in a similar role (consulting experience and extensive Business Development capability preferable)
Undergraduate degree in related discipline is essential; Postgraduate qualifications and other relevant professional courses are desirable
Preferred Qualifications
Proven technical skills- knowledge and experience in transport engineering- transport/ traffic modelling and transport planning
Excellent communication skills- with ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to communicate complex concepts
Inclusive and good team player with the right mix of independent thinking and working effectively within the team- sharing knowledge- providing coaching- peer review and contributing to joint problem solving
A keen focus on your own development and retaining a high level of technical skill.
