Job Summary
AECOM are looking for our next leader in BIM/DE Advisory and Implementation.

We are currently looking for an experienced BIM/DE Advisor to strengthen
AECOM|s BIM Consulting group. In this role you will manage- audit and assess
the Information Management capabilities for our external clients as well as
advise the BIM/DE requirements to suit their business needs.
This is a key role which will be supporting the VSA Digital Director and BI
Practice Lead- Project directors- project managers and other key stakeholders
developing strategy roadmaps- project information requirements- BIM executio
plans and standards across the client enterprise and projects- developin
their BIM knowledge base and skills.
In addition- you will be required to guide the client stakeholders and project
teams through current state workshops- future state visioning and BIM/DE
roadmap development. On the project deliver side you will need to undertake
virtual coordination and issue resolution process- manage a program- assign
tasks and meet deadlines.
Key responsibilities
Sound understanding of local and international BIM/DE standards and guidelines
Have experience implementing BIM/DE at an organisational level- strategy development and implementation
Implement and manage BIM processes as required on a project by project basis. Leading a team of BIM Coordinators ensuring the client`s interest is paramount in the execution of BIM.
Production of Federated Models primarily using Navisworks- and Revit
Production of Project Information Requirements and BIM Execution Plans
Auditing and assessment against BIM Execution Plans
Lead co-ordination reviews internal & external with Consultants- Contractors- Architects & Project Managers- Facility Managers and owners
Liaising and coordinating with the Engineers/Modellers/3 rd party providers on the production of Models/Drawings
Liaise with AECOM BIM leaders to establish company progression and intended direction.
Review and ownership of existing information standards development- implementation and enforcement.
Minimum Requirements
Production of BIM/DE strategy development documentation (current state- roadmap- execution plans- management plans)
Auditing delivery against BIM Execution Plans
Lead co-ordination reviews internal & external with other Services Consultants/Architects & Project Managers
Liaising and coordinating with the Engineers/Modellers on the production of Models/Drawings
Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with diplomacy and tact and a strong focus on customer service and project stakeholders
The ideal candidate will come from a background Property/ Design or Construction related sector (Architecture- Mechanical- Project Management or Engineering)
Experience working in BIM Advisory and/or Management
Knowledge of the construction industry- standard practices and workflow would be ideal.
