AECOM`s Easing Sydney`s Congestion program are currently looking for an
experienced Business Admin & Operations Manager to join their complex
construction program from a busy Parramatta project office. This will be a
fixed term contract to start as soon as possible- initially lasting until 3

th May 2020- with a strong potential for extension.

The Business Admin & Operations Manager will be responsible for the dail

operations and administration of the Program to support the Easing Sydney`s
Congestion program goals and objectives- while managing 3 administration and
operations staff.

The Role

The Business Admin & Operations Manager is accountable for leading and
managing strategic business improvement initiatives across the Sydney
Division.

The Business Admin & Operations Manager will manage the Office of the
Executive Director- Sydney; providing a range of high level executive-
secretariat- and issues management support services including providing
strategic advice- managing communications and implementing strategies to
support the achievement of the organisation`s strategic and operational
objectives.

As the Admin and Operations Manager- you will undertake research and prepare
quality- accurate and often sensitive analyses- reports- briefings or position
papers to inform the Director. As well as ensuring performance reporting
against Easing Sydney`s Congestion Programs deliverables are kept timely and
the General Manager is informed of delays or key achievements.

The suitable Business Admin & Operations Manager will have a proven ability in
an Administrative and process improvement role- with a background in working
across various IT systems to record information and data across various
project groups and committees.

A previous background in State or Federal Government would be highly
beneficial in understanding our program and working closely with Roads
Maritime Services- Transport for New South Wales- State Government- as well as
AECOM Engineers and Project Managers.

Minimum Requirements

Tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant professional experience in Admin Operations and Business Support Management

Highly developed facilitation and negotiation skills and demonstrated success in building effective working relationships across Government.

Outgoing and proactive personality in stakeholder engagement- with a keen motivation to improve processes in administration and general operations involving a variety of stakeholder groups

An understanding of working to projects with an on-budget and on-time mentality

Prior exposure to admin management and improving business admin operations processes

Ability to manage day-to-day operations as well as support multiple and varied projects in general administration support- alongside delegating tasks within your team

Ability to maintain capacity to work across a wide range of subjects and providing quality analysis and advice often at short notice and under pressure.

Actively listen and encourage others to contribute inputs

Share lessons learned across teams/units

Preferred Qualifications

Proven background interfacing across Federal- State or Local Government complex stakeholder groups- highly advantageous
