Job Summary
AECOM`s Resources Power & Industrial team in Mackay is looking for an
experienced Electrical Engineer to work on diverse projects ??? transport-
water- mining- construction services within an organisation that aims to make
the world a better place.
As part of a growing team- you will have the opportunity to be involved in
delivering electrical design packages for projects across the central and
northern areas of Australia plus workshare on projects from the major city
centres in Australia. Not only will you work with a range of internal
stakeholders- but you will also be given the opportunity to contribute to th
preparation of proposals- design schedules- budgets and technical an
commercial submissions for bid proposals associated with electrical work fo
external clients; either as standalone bids or as part of wider project teams
thereby contributing to the ongoing success of our team.
From a technical perspective- as an Electrical Engineer you will be
responsible for or part of a delivery team that completes:
Low voltage distribution / motor control system design projects.
Communication system design projects.
Control system (e.g. PLC/SCADA) design projects.
Power system studies (66kV to 415V) for mining and other key clients.
Project ???optioneering` studies.
Larger studies for customers such as BHP- Rio Tinto- Glencore- Transport and Main Roads and other key clients.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 3 years` relevant working experience.
Ability to be flexible- integrate well within a team delivery environment and be able to add to our customer focused culture.
Proactive mindset / self-driven.
Ability to undertake occasional travel- either between offices or to customer sites.
Excellent communicator.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Required);
Charter Professional Engineer (CPEng) / Registered Professional Engineer Qld (or working towards it) – desired;
