About the role
Your role will be to promote| sell and control the events enquiries from
initial enquiry to contracting. Be able to efficiently qualify and sell the
Hotel for conference and events. To build up powerful customer relationship

that deliver repeat business. Maximise revenue through actively convertin

enquiries into confirmed. Consistently strive to develop relationships wit

new and repeat booking customers to increase revenue and demand. Assist i

making Hilton events the Market leader.

Duties/responsibilities

• Handle all incoming groups| conference and events leads professionally

• Maximise revenue through upselling

• Actively convert leads into confirmed bookings

• Conduct Bring Back Old Business activities and repeat calls to increase
demand and overall revenue

• To achieve conference accommodation and event sales in line with targets

• Conducting tours of inspections (TOI) of the hotel with potential clients

• To actively promote the hotel facilities by entertaining clients and agents
as necessary

• Effectively negotiate rates according to selling strategies

• Update and maintain accurate account profiles in the database systems e.g.
Delphi.FDC

• Create and develop successful customer partnerships

Skills/experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High level of IT skills| including Excel and Word

• Talent for being persuasive

• Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets

• Excellent organisational and administration skills with attention to detail

• Well-presented and work well under pressure

It would be advantageous for you to demonstrate the following capabilities:

• 12 months previous experience in a similar hotel role

• Relevant degree| in a sales or business discipline| from an academic
institution
