The Event Sales Executive will be responsible for the effective
coordination and management of meetings| events and social functions. From
initial contact| the Event Sales Executive takes full responsibility and
is accountable for contracting| planning| implementation and execution of the
event until departure| including the final settlement of the account.
The Event Sales Executive is also responsible for but not limited to the
Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures| collaborating with other associates| ensuring accuracy.
Greets clients during the event phase and ensure the event operations team are briefed for the execution of details.
Conducts formal pre- and post-event meetings as required to review/communicate group needs and feedback
Conduct site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary.
Ensures billing accuracy
Manages group room blocks and meeting spaces for assigned groups.
What we|re looking for:
Experience in a similar role in a hotel environment is desirable
Goal oriented and results driven
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word| Excel and Powerpoint
Permanent residency or unlimited working rights in Australia
