About the role

You will be responsible for engaging our guests and customers by providing
them with the utmost in customer service. You will create memorable guest
experiences by efficiently assisting our guests in a friendly and engaging
manner.

We are on the lookout for talented and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendants
for Coal Cellar Bar. You will understand the importance of professional
customer service and be capable of providing nothing less than the best to our
guests.

In your new role you will be an energetic individual| responsible for
upholding the highest quality standards in the food and beverage (F&B)
operation in which you are working. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager| you
will enjoy working as part of a team on a rotating roster| in a fast-paced
environment.

Duties/responsibilities

Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner| including but not limited to serving as a food runner| barista or cocktail attendant/bartender| if required
Being allocated to Food & Beverage means that you should have the flexibility to work in all areas of Food & Beverage including the Restaurant| Bar| Room Service and Catering should the business needs require it
Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
Get to know and recognise regular customers & their preferences so that their needs can be met and exceeded
Responsible for a range of service styles depending on the outlet that you are working in| including buffet & a la carte
Understand menu content| any menu changes and promotional activities
Preparing of mise-en-place where required
Maintain a clean| tidy and well prepared service area
Handle all customer enquiries with a professional manner and demonstrate high standards of customer service
Perform duties with a high level of positive guest service. Ensure that the guest is the first priority at all times – be pro-active with their needs
Work a variety of shifts including; weekends| days| afternoons and evenings

Skills/experience

RSA – Must have a current and valid ‘Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol| certificate
Demonstrated experience within a bar| fine dining restaurant or catering operation is essential
Working knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixing of drinks
Friendly| positive| energetic disposition with a charismatic personality capable of delivering exceptional customer service
Fluent in the English language in order to communicate professionally with guests and team members
Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict| and work effectively under pressure
Good organisational skills
Well-presented and calm personality
A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
Willingness and ability to work around a 7 day week roster including evenings| weekends and public holidays
