Solander Dining and Bar by West Hotel| is a relaxed| sophisticated dining
experience. The menu consists of a carefully curated selection of modern
dishes| along with classic favourites. Dishes are nourishing and hero the
flavours of locally sourced ingredients| mindful of sustainability|
seasonality and produce origins.
We are on the lookout for talented and enthusiastic Food & Beverage
Attendants. You will understand the importance of professional customer
service and be capable of providing nothing less than the best to our guests.
In your new role you will be responsible for upholding the highest quality
standards in the food and beverage (F&B) operation in which you are working

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager| you will enjoy working as part of

team on a rotating roster| in a fast-paced environment.

Available Shifts and Hours

We are currently looking for new team members to complete 3-5 shifts per week.

Breakfast & Lunch Shift: Work hours will vary between 6am – 3pm.
Dinner Shifts: Work hours will vary between 3pm-11pm

Duties/Responsibilities

Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner| including but not limited to serving as a food runner| barista or cocktail attendant/bartender| if required
Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
Understand menu content| any menu changes and promotional activities
Preparing of mise-en-place where required
Maintain a clean| tidy and well prepared service area
Handle all customer enquiries with a professional manner and demonstrate high standards of customer service
Perform duties with a high level of positive guest service. Ensure that the guest is the first priority at all times – be pro-active with their needs

Skills/Experience

RSA – Must have a current and valid ‘Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol| certificate valid for NSW
Demonstrated experience within a bar or restaurant is essential
Working knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixing of drinks is beneficial
Must be friendly| positive| energetic and have a charismatic personality capable of delivering exceptional customer service
Fluent in the English language in order to communicate professionally with guests and team members
Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict| and work effectively under pressure
Good organisational skills
Well-presented and calm personality
A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
Willingness and ability to work around a 7 day week roster including evenings| weekends and public holidays
