About the role
DoubleTree by Hilton| Perth Northbridge opened to great acclaim in December
2018. An exciting new 206 room property| it was the first new-build DoubleTree
Hotel in Australasia. The fastest growing brand within Hilton| this was also
W.A.|s first DoubleTree branded hotel. A flag-ship hotel for DoubleTrees
within our region| the property has developed| over its first few months in
operation| an amazing service culture within the team. This will be you
opportunity to continue to inspire and build this culture within the hotel
now setting your team up for long-term success. Reporting to the Cluste
General Manager| you will develop and execute strategic leadership of th
Hotel in line with Company goals.
Duties/responsibilities
Inspires the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences – every guest| every time.
Confidently communicates their vision for the hotel and inspires the team in the delivery of the DoubleTree essence – Simply Welcoming.
Leads the team ensuring the delivery of all brand standards.
Leads the team in the day to day operation of the Hotel according to the budgets set for the maximisation of revenue and profit through empowering your team to deliver.
Leads and coordinates the implementation of all Global goals| projects| policies and events.
Leads and collaborates with the team to inspire the Hilton Worldwide vision To fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality by delivery exceptional experiences – every hotel| every guest| every time and our mission to be the most hospitable company in the world.
Consistently challenges the status quo and looks to improve and innovate to provide the best possible service to our guests| the best environment for our team where they can thrive and provide the best relationship with our owners.
Champions our recognition programs| leading by example through encouraging the heart of our team through individual and team recognition.
Leads the team to develop their skills and competencies for their future growth and the growth of the company.
Holds the primary and legal responsibility for workplace health and safety and ensures| so far as reasonably practicable| that the health and safety of all team members any other persons at the Hotel are not put at risk.
Builds and maintains good relations with Hotel stakeholders| ensuring timely reporting and payment of dues| and access to Hotel and records in accordance with policy and the Management Agreement.
Is responsible for ensuring that all necessary action is taken to protect the legal organisation of the operation| remaining informed as to legislation and judicial decisions which can affect the legal status of the operations and/or its team members.
Ensures all Global Hilton Worldwide Policies and Procedures are implemented and follows and develops hotel procedures in line with these policies.
Skills/experience
Degree level qualification preferred
Substantial and successful track record in hotel operations required
Leadership experience; preferably 5 years or more
Proven track record of success in achieving revenue and service objectives
Proven ability to recruit| motivate and train successful teams
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the
following:
Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
Previous experience in the same or similar role within the Hospitality Industry
