Job Summary
AECOM is looking for an experienced Digital Engineering Project Lead/BIM
Manager to continue building our Civil Infrastructure Digital Engineering
group. In this role you will work across the project team to ensure the DE/BIM
goals and requirements are methodically planned- tested- documented and
clearly communicated across the project team.
You will be supporting Project Directors- Project Managers- Digital
Engineering designers and documenters along with other project personnel;
developing BIM execution plans and developing appropriate DE knowledge base
for the Civil Infrastructures` Digital Engineering group.
Key responsibilities will include:
Generate- implement and manage DE/BIM processes as required on a project by project basis.
Run Design Coordinating Meetings- including; assign tasks- deadlines- & ensure the resultant actions are incorporated into the model(s).
Processing discipline models for Federation in Navisworks and Revizto- with authoring tools such as: 12D- ArcGIS- InfraWorks- OpenRoads- AutoCAD- MicroStation- .IFC and Revit.
Overseeing a CDE (Common Data Environment) including Projectwise and BIM360 Design.
Production and Delivery against BIM Plans and briefs etc.
Liaising and coordinating with Engineers/Modellers/3 rd party providers on production of Models and drawing documentation.
Liaise with AECOM DE/BIM leaders to establish company progression and intended direction.
Development- review and ownership of DE/BIM standards- implementation and enforcement- including ongoing staff training/education.
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate will come from a multi-discipline coordination design/modelling background and have relevant or related diploma or certificate (Architecture- Structural- Civil- and/or Building Services).
Experience delivering DE/BIM projects as a DE/BIM Manager and over 8 years construction / design industry experience.
Leadership- mentoring and training experience- along with a desire to become a leader in Information Modelling for Lineal Infrastructure.
Have previously worked for a multi-discipline engineering consultancy or constructor.
