Job Summary
The AECOM Project and Construction Management team are currently looking for a
Project Manager who has an interest in diverse client-side project management
and looks to improve client project delivery across a variety of market
sectors.
Our Project Managers in Melbourne are currently involved in both complex
programs and major projects across Infrastructure- Environment- Defence-
Aviation- Energy & Resources- Education and Healthcare.
Our current team are at a stage where you can build a progressive and divers

career in client-side Project and Construction Management- while workin

closely with major projects and clients and genuinely contributing toward

improving the state of Victoria.

The Role

As a Project Manager in our Melbourne office you will be able to advise and
lead on projects at various stages in the project lifecycle- from pre-
construction to delivery and hand-over- while working with a diverse group of
clients- stakeholders and AECOM specialists.

This is your opportunity as a client-side Project Manager to broaden and build
on your Project Management experience in diverse project environments. You
will be representing the AECOM brand and partners with a variety of key
clients- ensuring AECOM`s strong client relationships are consistently
maintained with your client-centric approach.

As a Project Manager in Melbourne you will concentrate on managing projects
autonomously and independently- working closely with clients as a key advisor
in contract administration- scheduling- costing and tender submissions.
Therefore- you will enjoy an adaptable project management experience and
thrive in an environment where everyday guarantees variety and a new
challenge.

Minimum Requirements

With the ability to form key relationships and use excellent communication
skills to negotiate- develop stakeholder buy-in and make informed decisions-
clients will benefit from your high level of project management knowledge and
track record in delivering projects on time and on budget.

Your proven ability to meet deadlines and utilise a variety of project
management tools will be highly regarded and allow relationships to develop
into further business and project pipeline.

As a Project Manager in AECOM you will not only be able you to practice your
prior involvement in client management- but also the opportunity to utilise
your prior experience in winning work through tender submissions or client
relationship building.

This is an opportunity to work across a diverse project management role and
will benefit an adaptable Project Manager who looks to build on their previous
experience in delivering projects in a client-side role.

Preferred Qualifications

Adaptable approach to client-centric Project Management

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering- Project Management or other related degree

Proven experience in Project Management role

Confidence and understanding of contractual law and contract administration
