Terraces Restaurant at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort is the Gold Coast’s most
renowned seafood buffet. At Terraces| guests indulge in a delicious selection
of fresh seafood| gourmet salads| delightful desserts| and much more| while
overlooking the lagoons and listening to the tranquil sounds of the waterfall.
Job Description
As a restaurant supervisor| you will provide friendly| courteous and efficient
food and beverage service| helping to create a smooth and enjoyable experience
for diners.
Requirements
The ideal candidates will be energetic| friendly| organised| enjoy working in
a team environment and be passionate to provide the highest level of customer
service.
Duties include but are not limited to
Assisting the Restaurant Manager with the initial and ongoing “On the Job” Training to ensure that associates have the necessary skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively
Assist with development and performance reviews
Ensure that all Associates comply with the grooming and uniform standards and assist restaurant manager in conducting inspections.
Implement opportunities for quality Team Building
Understand and supervise opening and closing procedures including a thorough knowledge of the Point of Sale System to include all discount and loyalty cards
Handle Guest concerns and complaints with a concerning and understanding attitude as per Hotel standard
Conduct pre-service briefings with staff| including: VIPs in House| Group movement| Promotional activity| Guest feedback and product knowledge
All candidates must be available to work a rotating roster including holidays
and weekends. Only candidates with a current Queensland RSA certificate will
be eligible for hire.
